Fish meal and fish oil from food grade herring
Low temperature means that the fish meal is produced by indirect heat drying. The process itself requires 30% less energy, but it also improves the digestibility of amino acids and allows the separation of proteins and oils without any chemicals. The low fat content also means that the fish meal is flowable.
Low temperature process enables high content of Water Soluble Protein. This leads to improved digestibility of fish meal.
Food grade herring is used in the production of the fish meal and oil.
